Ihr spürt dies ganz deutlich, wie der Kathe ter langsam in der Harnröhre vorwärts gleitet. Nach kurzer Zeit kommt Ihr an den genannten Harn- röhrenknick an. Es ist ein deutlicher Widerstand. Jetzt müsst Ihr den Penis nach vorn strecken, um durch diesen Knick zu kommen. Fasst dazu hinter der Eichel an und zieht den Penis vom Körper weg, schiebt dabei den Katheter langsam gegen den natürlichen Widerstand weiter. Achtung ! Keine Gewalt anwenden, Ihr schadet Euch nur selbst. Den Katheter langsam weiter schieben, bis Ihr erneut einen Widerstand spürt. Dies ist jetzt der Blasenschliessmuskel. Auch diesen Widerstand müsst Ihr überwinden und den Katheter weiter schieben bis es zum Urinfluss kommt. Bei Verwend- ung eines einfachen Katheters habt Ihr Euer Ziel erreicht. Lasst die Blase leer laufen, dann könnt Ihr den Katheter langsam von selbst herausgleiten lassen. In dem Adapter ist ein Sperrventil, welches nach Abziehen der Spritze das Zurückfliessen des Blockwassers verhindert. Beim Entfernen des Katheters müsst Ihr diesen Vorgang in umgekehr ter Reihenfolge durchführen (die leere Spritze aufstecken, das Blockwasser dann langsam zurück ziehen, gefüllte Spritze abziehen).
